Mr.Wong pointed out a wise alternative of spending the Rm14 billion of tax payers money to expand and upgrade the broadband infrastructure.

Our government however think it's worth it all to buy a rm14 billion margaritaville

Awesome job Freda and Mr.Wong! I enjoyed the interview and learned a few things.

All this talk about huge government budgets makes me wonder why our dear TMnet cannot fix what they claim are circuit faults since March 31, 2009. (http://slowstreamyx.com/) until now April 23rd, 2009.

Actually I do not know if its technicallly the same problem, but what I experience as an end user is unchanged, it seems like its the same problem that started around the time of the announcement.

TMnet needs restructuring to avoid complacency or just plain laziness, if they are forever to hold the monopoly.

Who can shake them up except competition or the government? The competition are all fairly new to the field so this might take some time for TM to feel any pinch, and our dear government seems unfocused at this time, politicians seem to be having too much fun among themselves jousting for seats in the parliament as if they are procrastinating from upholding the greater good of the country.

I guess what I can do as an end user is to ditch TM and support the competition. Some day things will change no doubt, but TM will only change if they are forced to (for a short time, then fall back into complacency).
