Can ASEAN Expansion Reverse Homegrown NHF’s Faltering Bottom Line?

New Hoong Fatt has been around since 1977, it started off as a trading company providing automotive parts solutions for the likes of Nissan, Honda, and Mercedes Benz. It later moved up the value chain into the manufacturing of metal parts in 1989, developing doors, fenders, trunks.

Today it is a major distributor of automotive body replacement parts with a distribution channel that spans over 1,000 wholesalers and retailers throughout Malaysia and exports to some 50 countries.

With potential disruption ahead, can NHF Group move further up the value chain and adapt to changing trends?
