Over the weekend, an anime event here in KL was closed down because the organisers hadn’t applied for the correct permits to ensure the event could actually go ahead. Neither had they applied for work permits for the performers, resulting in a few arrests. We’d like to use this as an opportunity to discuss events here in Malaysia - and the lack of proper planning.
