I disagree that political will is seen in the details of the plan - as noble and courageous as they may be. That is a political showcase. Rather, political will is demonstrated in the execution of the plan. Having said that, never have Malaysians been permitted such clarity and openess in their view of government processes. That is a pat on the back. For the feather in the cap, though, we will have to see how this will pan out in the effects on the average Ahmad, Ah Seng and Muthu and in particular their children. Datuk Idris, you will be remembered as one of those men who built the house of modern Malaysia, using your analogy. Chuang, thank you for asking the questions that we all want to ask but never dared to.
