Infocus: Thinking Drawing

Thinking Drawing is curated by Berlin-based artist Astrid Köppe, former Artist-in-Residence of the Goethe-Institut Malaysia. It will show a range of interesting contemporary approaches to drawing from young emerging talents along with more other senior artists. All of the artists have their very own personal takes on the genre. The participating artists are; Phuan Thai Meng, Astrid Köppe, Chuah Shu Ruei, Eddie Choo Wen Yi, Abdul Latif Padzali and Liew Chee Heai.

The aim of this exhibition is to show what drawing is today and maybe a glimpse of what it can be in future. The exhibition will also be accompanied by a series of artist talks, lectures and workshops on contemporary drawing practice.
