While I agree that not all Malaysian Taxi Drivers are bad, my experience is that the majority are.
I found a good one and I am sticking with him. When he is not free I experience all the worst and that is over-charging, rudeness, refusing to take the trip etc.
In my book Malaysian Taxis is among the Top 3 worst things about Malaysia ranking up there with corruption.
