India produces some of the highest quality tea varietals that are deemed as wines from France. As the world’s second-largest tea grower after China, they still remain the colonial-era practices in tea-growing. Kaushal Dugar is slowly bringing the sector into the modern era via his online tea retailing startup Teabox. He removed the traditional distribution layers of resellers and marketeers and reduced the 3-6 month process down to 10 days to have the fresh tea at your doorstep. As of June 2014, Teabox has shipped 10 million cups' worth of tea to 65 countries.
