A recent article in Foreign Policy Magazine titled “The Social Laboratory” provided a glimpse of what an all encompassing national security policy involving mass surveillance and big data would look like. It looks like Singapore. We speak to foreign policy analyst Elina Noor about the implications of enacting a surveillance state.
