According to our Health Minister, Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai, Malaysia is the fattest country in South-East Asia with obesity rate on the rise. And with obesity, the risk of diabetes is also increased. Malaysia has around 15 to 20 percent of diabetes patients compared to 8 – 10 percent elsewhere.
