We explore the topic of decolonisation with Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim, 53 years after the making of Malaysia. Then, we take a look at the life and legacy of K. Thamboosamy Pillai, a Malaysian of Tamil origin, who was prominent in helping the Indian community during our pre-independence years. We conclude with “Kisah,” a a literary journal exploring the historical and contemporary narrative experience of Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
