Launched back in 2017, Kapten Batik was founded to promote and utilise the traditional wax-resist dyeing technique known as batik, as the core of the brand. With the aim of developing sustainable artisanal crafts, the brand brings a more tailored approach to batik and menswear – mixing in modern and contemporary motives in their designs that can be worn on a daily basis, no matter the occasion.
