00:00 - Apart from reducing the East Coast Rail Link construction cost by RM21.5 billion, the government revealed that the Chinese state-owned China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC) has agreed to operate and maintain the project through a 50-50 joint venture with Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd.

06:07 - The Penang South Reclamation Scheme plans to reclaim land and construct three man-made islands. The state government plans to raise 70 billion ringgit from projects on the new islands. Besides the reclamation, out of RM 70billion, about RM 46 billion will be used to build light rail transit (LRT) line, the construction of Pan Island Link 1 (PIL1) and other supporting infrastructure projects under the Penang Transport Master Plan.
