It is estimated that more than a billion people make a living from wetlands, but it's also estimated that more than 64% of our wetlands have disappeared since 1900. In conjunction with World Wetlands Day -- which is celebrated annually on the 2nd of February -- we speak to Associate Professor Catherine Yule, an aquatic biologist, about it's importance and the urgent need to protect what's left.
