The odissi dance form, which originates in the state of Odisha in India, has taken root and evolved in Malaysia in its own way. An event called “Samprajna” aims to connect contemporary odissi with the history of the dance, by bringing some of its most renowned exponents to Kuala Lumpur for both conversations and performances.
