Baroness Thornton is a Labour and Co-operative member of the House of Lords. Previously in the Parliamentary Under Secretary for Health, she moved her focus to equalities. Appointed Chief Executive by The Young Foundation in 2015, she furthers her work in social change. Here for the Social Economy and Investment Conference 2017, we speak to the Baroness to talk about her work with women as well as the growing development of the social economy here in Asia.
