Industry Vs Academia

Dr Abdul Reezal Abdul Latif, Steinbeis Malaysia Foundation

12-Dec-17 11:00

Industry Vs Academia

Universities are more than just higher-education centers. They are also important research hubs for any country. And yet despite wanting to position themselves as front runners in their respective industries, few corporate companies engage universities, preferring to do their own research work. To clear the air where the age old feud between industry and academia, we speak to someone who had been on both sides of the coin, Dr Abdul Reezal from Steinbeis Malaysia Foundation and Agensi Inovasi Malaysia. Also making an appearance on the show is Foo Lee Khean, Chairman of SysArmy.
