The Greater Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley population has grown from 6 million in 2010 to nearly 7 million in 2013. By 2020, the capital city is expected to have a 10 million population. This world is becoming increasingly urbanized, echoing research that shows the proportion of world population in cities is more than 50% and is expected to increase to 70% by 2050.
