Earlier this week, a video competition held by the Ministry of Health came to attention because of its "gender confusion" category which made references to LGBT. This sparked off criticisms that the MOH is being discriminatory to the LGBT community. After holding a meeting with activists and members of civil society, the ministry decided to remove the controversial references. Local filmmaker Grim Film Productions, in collaboration with comedian Dr. Jason Leong, are organising their own version of a creative video competition. Ezra Zaid and Caroline Oh speak with social rights activist Nisha Ayub, and Jared Lee, co-founder of Grim Film Productions.
