Renowned Malaysian jazz drummer Lewis Pragasam passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 66. Known for pioneering the fusion of Asian and Western music, Lewis founded the Asiabeat project in 1979, and has played with numerous musicians both local and international. We pay tribute to the local jazz legend and hear from listeners who share their favourite memories of him.
