Viet Jet, Vietnam's low-cost airline and a newcomer to its aviation scene is causing quite a stir with their 50,000 promotional tickets giveaway in conjunction with their newest international route KL - Ho Chi Minh City. But what's been getting more attention is the fact that their female flight attendants are free to dress how they want; anything from a bikini to the country's traditional ao dai. The airline has said the move is meant to be a message of empowerment, rather than objectifying women. On Talkback Thursday today, we're asking: Are bikini-clad flight attendants a step back or a step forward? Does this objectify women or does this empower them?
