Late February 2014, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Joseph Kurup suggested that Malaysia should take a major step towards creating a single national identity by removing the “race” category from all official forms in an effort to promote national unity.  We opened our phone lines and asked listeners, "if this proposal is adopted, how will it affect our individual cultural identities?"
