Hunny Madu, TV Host, Musician

Hunny Madu

Tonight we’ve had a talented lady in front of the cameras, when she’s not busy hosting television show for a good part of the week, she’ll be dropping beats and rhymes that’ll defy her small figure. It’s no other than Hunny Madu! or aka Hani Hatim.

Hunny’s talent was shaped way back in school when she was known for singing a lot of R&B during her school days. She notes that her exposure to hip-hop was accredited to her elder brother where she would see her brother pausing cassette tapes mid-track to write down lyrics and understand them.

In 2011, Hunny stepped into the musical foray with her debut album Pulau Janji. With collaborations with Anuar Zain and Najwa Mahiaddin, Hunny’s first debut was a good experience for her. Three years down the line, Hunny came back with local female rapper Kayda for the Go Hard or Gostan mixtape. Where the single Go Hard or Gostan topped Hitz.fm’s MET 10 chart at #1 for seven week consecutively.

Currently, Hunny’s the regular host for TV9’s Nasi Lemak Kopi O, Hip TV and is a proud mother of Eva Medina. She juggles it all with grace and timing that only those in the entertainment world could.

For the record, Hunny scored _!
