Total gross adex in 2016 fell 7% y-o-y weighed down by weak sentiment and is expected to remain lacklustre for the rest of 2017. Meanwhile, no significant impact is seen from Astro's exclusive rights that grants it a monopoly for direct-to-home services which expires in Feb'17,  notorious for its heavy capex requirement and heavy gestation period.
