The removal of the critical allowances for medical, pharmacy and dental officers, as well as lecturers in medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, including engineers and other professionals joining the civil service will start next year. We ask if this move is fair and whether the salary scheme for all government servants should be re-looked at.
