MyNews - F&B Is the Future, But Is It Enough to Compete?

MyNews is the largest home-grown convenience store operator and the second largest player overall. However its biggest competitor, 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings, has a significant lead here with over 70% market share in the segment, operating over 2,000 stores. On top of that, Family Mart entered the market recently and has made a name for itself in the sector.

Will MyNews's new food processing centre and aggressive expansion plan be enough to navigate the increasingly competitive retail landscape?
