Leading up to the recent 2019 SEA Games in Phillipines, one of the major stories about the national football team was the possible inclusion of American-born midfielder Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal. And while he made the trip from the US to pre-season training here in Malaysia, he ultimately he didn’t make the final squad of 20 players to Manila due to “documentation issues”.
Wan Kuzain who plays his trade in the MLS with Sporting Kansas City, excited fans and became a hot topic among national football fans after he expressed interest to represent Harimau Malaya. A man many have called the "Malaysian Messi" made history by being the first player with Malaysian roots to score in the MLS — is on the program today as he gives us the low-down on his career so far.
