The Honda Accord Is A Great Car, But It's A Dying Breed

This week, Daniel updates us on a landmark judgement for the Lemon Law in a Johor court, as a car owner wins an 8 year old lawsuit against a dealer over his defective vehicle. We then discuss Proton's 4 new special edition cars, Mitsubishi's fantastic-looking 2022 Outlander, a Turkish car company called TOGG, and the all-new Porsche 911 GT3. We also discuss a few press releases from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Perodua, in Part 3 of the show.

Our car review focuses on the new Honda Accord and why it won't likely sell in large numbers, despite it being a very good car. Even though Honda has equipped it generously, dressed it in a bolder, sleeker fastback design, and paid more attention to the interior, the fate of the Accord (and its competitors) is written on the walls. The D-Segment is dying, and the new Accord won't likely change its fate.
