Two years ago, a tiny run-down cabin originally meant as an outpost for neighbourhood watches were refurbished and now houses the Subang Jaya Book Exchange Programme (BEP), in efforts to maintain and enhance the reading culture in the community. From humble beginnings as just a thread on a forum, it has now evolved to meet-ups with activities planned throughout the day.
