Brain Waves #36: What If You Never Felt Pain?

Almost every one of us has experienced pain, whether it’s a simple paper cut or a more serious injury from an accident. But what if you never felt pain at all? Last year, it was reported that a 71 year old woman from Scotland had never experienced pain in her life due to a rare genetic mutation. In this episode of Brain Waves, we dive into the world of pain with neurogeneticist Dr Azlina Ahmad Annuar and neurophysiologist Dr Sheena Tiong, both from Universiti Malaya.
