Statistics from a WAO 1995 study tell us that an estimated 36% of women have suffered from domestic violence in Malaysia. Despite there being legal mechanisms in place to protect victims of domestic violence in Malaysia, it is clear they are inadequate, given the number of domestic violence deaths that are occurring on a regular basis. Ivy and Melissa join us to make a stand against domestic violence, and call on the government to start taking preventative action.
