The Association of Voices of Peace, Conscience and Reason (PCORE) and the Universiti Malaya’s History Department are organizing a forum on the significance and relevance of studying history next month. With the support of the Malaysian Historical Society and the National Archives of Malaysia, the forum will take place 8am, Saturday, October 22nd, at Universiti Malaya’s Lecture Theatre A. We speak to PCORE President Datuk Halimah Mohd Said about the role history can play in nation building.
