Lurking silently behind the COVID-19 pandemic is another highly transmissible viral disease that infects thousands of people in Malaysia every year, causing hundreds of deaths. Unfortunately, dengue doesn’t get as much attention as COVID-19. We look at how the MCO affected the prevalence of dengue, and what lessons we can adopt from the COVID-19 pandemic in tackling dengue.
