The W.A.T.E.R Project 5 Years On & River Carnival 2012

The W.A.T.E.R project, a partnership between the Global Environment Centre (GEC) and GAB Foundation, commenced in December 2007 and was meant to educate the public about the importance of water and why and how we should conserve and protect its source, our rivers.

Five years on, we get updates on the project which focuses on Sungai Way, and other river saving projects that have sprung up since, from Dr K Kalithasan, the coordinator of the River Care Programme of the Global Environment Centre and Renuka Indrarajah, the Director of the GAB Foundation.
