In Australia they prefer to use very contaminated & very expensive blood & always complain about the shortage of donors on television commercials which are very expensive, trying to make viewers ashamed for not donating and make them feel guilty rather then come to the party and using the latest medical knowledge!

Thank-you for this podcast and in depth explanation of bloodless surgery. This will be really helpful as I plan to pass this on to my family who aren't Jehovah's Witnesses. Most people don't realize they have choices and although I do as one of Jehovah's Witnesses but I learned alot myself about the science of it. As to the feeling among the medical community and possibly even more advancement because of seeing real success now I applaud you for making this informaiton available to all who want it. It is nice to hear of a Dr who is this open minded and I hope it is "catching". Sincere thanks for airing this.

Very informative and correct. There are many surgeons who in various fields of medicine who will not use blood at all and some have never used blood although performing thousands of operations during their career.
