The Malaysia Social Entrepreneurship Blueprint 2030 (SEMy2030) has been touted as “the most ambitious ever attempt in the Asia Pacific region to promote social entrepreneurship”. We discuss what the blueprint means to local social enterprises and those in the B40 category, as well as the key instruments that need to be activated in order for this blueprint to realise its goals.
