Prof. Dr. Ille C. Gebeshuber, a Professor of Physics at the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN) in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will describe the physical basics of structural colours, and introduce examples from biology and man-made structural colours to give an outlook on possible future applications in science and art.
Professor Ille will also be giving a talk at the 4th TEDx KL event, which will be held on the 14th of July 2012 at the Temple of Fine Arts in Brickfields. The theme of the conference is "Interdependence." Full details here: http://www.tedxkl.com
