AFS, previously the American Field Service, is a global nonprofit that places thousands of youths in a foreign country to facilitate immersive intercultural learning. We find out from our panel of guests about the merits and relevance of an exchange programme, whether the local AFS chapter has made an impact in Malaysia, and what it’s like to be a participant in the programme.
