The Syrian Emergency Task Force or SETF is a non-profit organization based in the United States that was established to convey the democratic aspirations of Syrians to the American public. With approximately 30-50 thousand Syrian refugees now in Malaysia alone, the SETF are working on establishing themselves in Southeast Asia. We speak to Salem Ghandour, SETF's Advisor, about their efforts to raise awareness on the violent history of the Assad regime, the continued oppression of the Syrian people, and how the SETF are providing aid to those affected.
