The closure of Speedy Video, Mid Valley is yet another side-effect of changing times. With physical media on the decline and digital content more prominent than ever, the way we consume content is vastly different compared to a decade ago. While the endurance of Speedy’s franchise is admirable, it’s also worth asking how stores like these can survive despite a market that no longer needs their products.
