We always speak of the immigrants in Malaysia as 'the other'. In actual fact, the 6 million of them who have made Malaysia their home for years are just like us; they have dreams, stories and fears. Over the next 6 weeks, we'll be bringing their stories on air, disengaging you from the common migrant narrative and instead, giving them something they often get deprived of: a voice. Last week, Rahmah Pauzi spoke to the winner of the Migrant Worker Poetry Competition, held as part of the Cooler Lumpur festival. In today's episode, she speaks to the finalists of the competition.
