Malaysia just keeps developing, and migrants keep coming in - but there's no sustainable relationship formed between the locals and the migrants. When this happens, migrants are forced to leave a mark in their new country. They must find a way to remind each other that they do have rights, though they are unacknowledged.
This week and next week, Rahmah Pauzi speaks to several migrant activists to learn how they advance their activism works and critical literacy efforts for the migrant community through films and music.
