Top 5 At 5: Singapore's Next PM, Aphrodisiac Ginseng Candies, & Sweaty Weather

Today's top 5 stories are:

1. The increased use of air-conditioners amidst the country's heatwave, which has led to complaints of high electricity bills.

2. The discovery of tadalafil, an aphrodisiac to treat erectile dysfunction, in ginseng candies manufactured in Malaysia. The issue here is that tadalafil is only supposed to be prescribed by medical professionals.

3. The issue of under-enrollment of students in more than 3000 schools in Malaysia.

4. EPF introducing a third account, which allows users to contribute 10 percent of their monthly contributions, and withdraw them at anytime.

5. Our top story: Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announcement that he will step down from office next month, to be succeeded by the current Deputy Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong.

For these stories, we heard from Ko Chuan Zhen, the CEO of Plus Xnergy; Chong Wai Yip, a teacher in SJKC Papan in Perak; Suraya Zainudin, founder of ringgitohringgit.com; and Professor Chai Lay Ching, a researcher in food safety from Sunway University.
