A report by former UN Special Rapporteur Philip Alston indicates that the current government does not intend to review the poverty line, and states that the official rate of 0.4% is "based on a statistical sleight of hand". We speak to Lee Hwok-Aun to understand why using outdated systems to measure poverty is problematic.
