US Midterm Elections 2018: The Aftermath and Looking Ahead

Americans voted in the midterm elections yesterday, which were widely seen as a referendum on President Donald Trump. The Democrats emerged victorious in the House of Representatives, where they wrestled majority control winning 222 out of 435 seats. However the Republicans retained control of the Senate, holding 51 seats to the Democrats' 48.

Morning Run Presenter and Producer Melisa Idris, who is with the Foreign Press Center’s ‘International Reporting Tour of the US Midterm Elections’ provides a post-mortem report from Clerk County in the state of Nevada.

Presented by: Khoo Hsu Chuang, Joyce Goh
