While not mathematically confirmed, GW36 nudged us closer to crowning this season's champions, and the writing on the wall seems to be that the trophy will remain in the blue half of Manchester - as Pep's side won away 3-0 at Everton and are now just one win away from defending their status as the best team in the country. Arsenal on the other hand, played well but went down 0-3 to Brighton - a result that saw their fleeting title hopes left in tatters. Elsewhere, Manchester United looked to further cement their Champions League spot with a 2-0 win over Wolves keeping pace with third place Newcastle who dropped points with an exciting 2-2 draw with relegation strugglers Leeds United.
