Based on Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri's (LHDN) findings, some 31,958 entities consisting of individuals, businesses, companies and others have yet to declare their income. They were reported to be responsible for leakages in our tax collection amounting to around RM 665m. We speak with Jagdev Singh, Tax Leader at PwC Malaysia to discuss these leakages and the prevalance of this problem in Malaysia.
