But treatment options for atrial fibrillation have made significant advances - no longer just reliant on blood thinners. We speak to Dr Surinder Kaur Khelae, a senior consultant cardiologist at the National Heart Institute, to find out how a dual-treatment approach is changing the management of AF and thus, changing the quality of life for people with AF.
