We looked at the state of public universities. High-quality, inclusive, and accessible public higher education used to be the pride of the nation. Now, there has been a lot of focus on increasing state intervention where public universities seem to be losing their autonomy. Are universities simply simply churning out graduates who are ready for the job market or should these institutions be focused on producing critical minds. How much do university rankings actually matter?
