The opposition has called on Putrajaya to set up a procedure to compensate victims of scammers, and to look to a bank in Singapore that gave out goodwill payments to customers who had fallen prey to a phishing scam. We talk about what fair compensation could look like, where the onus lies and how else financial systems can be strengthened to combat online scams.
