Member states of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) are gearing up for the Conference of Parties (COP 26) in November. 2021 marks the starting point for ambitious carbon emission plans that countries promised to implement under the Paris Agreement, but many details remain unresolved.
